On Friday 12th January, Class 3 visited the museum of Welsh life in St. Fagans, Cardiff. The children had an enjoyable time learning about Celtic round houses and had their very own Celt who asked and answered questions about the Celts, giving the children a better understanding of what life was like in Iron Age Wales. The children were also given the opportunity to visit the Victorian school room and the Rhyd y Car cottages, showing changes in life style through different periods of time.
We were lucky with the weather and had a relatively mild and rain free day.
